What better way to spend a warm sunny evening than to listen to the band at Barringtons in Darley Dale on Sunday 28th July? From 7 to 9 pm – free entry, bar open, food served in the garden until 8 and a raffle as well!
(Our MD says we will have earned a night off – so no band practice on Monday 29th.)

Darley Dale Band currently has an almost full team of players but would like to recruit cornet and trombone players and welcomes enquiries about membership. We have a number of instruments available for loan. At the moment we do not provide training for beginners (although we have had a training band and could do so again) so Grade 5 level on paper or the equivalent in experience is desirable. Then come to South Darley Village Hall at 7.15 on a Monday evening. The hall is at Cross Green on the B5057 road from Darley Bridge to Wensley, opposite St Mary’s Church. The post code is DE4 2JT. You will be very welcome.
